The long awaited book five in the series of “The Secrets of the Immortal" by Nicholas Flamel has arrived. The story has so many characters and settings that I was finding it hard going trying to keep up with everything. The author has however pieced everything together rather well and it is with great expectation I look forward to reading what happens in the final book, book six.
Josh has sided with John Dee and Virginia Dare the antagonists or are they?? They heading to Alcatraz to unleash the creatures to please the Elders. Will Machiavelli and Billy the Kid try to stop them?
Sophie is still with the dying Nicholas and his wife Perenelle. They are staying with Sophie’s aunt who turns out to be the wife of Abraham the Mage!
I would suggest that you need to have read some of the other books in the series to enjoy this one.
