Reviewed by Mrs HollingsworthRaphael and Gardo are friends who search through waste at the rubbish dump to find items that will be useful to them in order to survive. They are not alone, as many in their society are also faced with the task of searching through refuse at the dump, simply to stay alive.
When Raphael and Gardo find something intriguing, they decide to hide the item and keep it a secret. It is difficult for them to maintain their silence, when swarms of police come to interrogate those who search the rubbish dump. Gripped with fear and seeking to keep their find hidden, they draw their friend Jun-Jun into their circumstances.
Their journey becomes one of intrigue and mystery, they search for a locker, visit a prisoner, hide from the authorities and much more as they try to unlock the significance of their find and discover why the police are so interested in the discarded bag. They struggle to stay safe and remain one step ahead of the law enforcement authorities.
Could this bag be the treasure that will ensure they have a hopeful future and bring an end to their relentless search through the rubbish and waste?
